Jennica's Bio:
Jennica joins the Zootown Arts Community Center part-time as an Arts Associate, bringing a vibrant blend of entrepreneurial spirit, artistic insight, and a profound commitment to community well-being. After moving from Carpinteria, California, to Missoula in 2021, Jennica explored artisanship at the downtown People's Market and graduated with a degree in Studio Art/Psychology from the University of Montana in May 2023. Her background in handcrafting jewelry during personal struggles revealed the therapeutic benefits of artistic expression, sparking a passion for art therapy. Jennica envisions Missoula as the ideal place to grow due to its vibrant artistic community and dedication to inclusivity. She believes in the power of art to foster connection and resilience and is excited to contribute to ZACC's mission of cultivating community through accessible arts experiences for all. Jennica also occasionally teaches jewelry-making classes at the ZACC and looks forward to collaborating to create meaningful change and promote a culture of peace and compassion.
