Gini Aten Erving grew up in New Haven, CT, with parents who encouraged involvement and support of many mediums of art and culture. After graduating from Bowdoin College, she moved west and now has called Montana home for almost 30 years. Interspersed with raising three children, Gini owned a yarn shop in downtown Missoula and managed grant funding for a local nonprofit. In 2015 she earned a Master’s degree in Accounting and her CPA license. She worked as an auditor with a local public accounting firm specializing in nonprofit organizations before joining Missoula International School as CFO in 2018. When she's not on her couch knitting or reading, Gini usually can be found hiking or biking a trail with her husband, Rich, and their dog, Olive.
