Art, music, fan zines, pulp, love letters, travel, research, community, news, science fiction, activism! If you have an idea and you're not seeing it out in the world yet, why wait for it? Make it yourself! And you can learn how in this special Zine-Making class taught by Tandy Kunkle. With deep roots in the DIY philosophy, zines have long been an avenue where rebellious creators could buck the mainstream and share their ideas with the world without permission. By the end of the course, we will understand how our personal voice and ideas can be expressed in the medium of zines, we will learn planning and reproduction techniques and we will explore the community and culture of zine makers past and present. Bring your ideas, your passions, your old magazines and let's get to work!

*This class will nor meet the week of February 18th while the ZACC hosts the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival.
