Introduction to Linoleum Printmaking

Linoleum block printing is a relief practice of printmaking that involves carving into a stamp that is then pressed onto paper or fabric using ink. This introductory five-week course will introduce students to fundamental linocut block printing techniques and guide them through making their own original print editions.

**This class includes an extra $15 materials fee because all of your supplies, thats right, ALL of your supplies are included for black and white prints this class. No last minute orders or supply lists to worry about! If folks want to make color prints, they can consult the instructor on the first day of class for an expanded material list of locally available supplies.
