ABOUT THE SHOW, IN THE ARTIST’S WORDS
This show explores violence and trauma through a visual language of folk art and storytelling. Through these pieces, I’ve tried to build up and mythologize these figures of young women and animals, to give them power, to transform them into something dangerous and wild.

ARTIST BIO
Tennessee Glenn is a multidisciplinary artist based in Missoula, Montana. She has studied art at Northwest College, Middle Tennessee State University, and the University of Montana while avoiding the burden of earning a single degree.
