Rural Montana Monsters in the Youth Gallery

Opening First Friday, February 5, 5-8 PM & exhibiting through March

Inspired by the 6th Annual Missoula Monster Project in 2020, Clinton elementary students drew and described their own monsters. Then, Big Sky Academy High School students took these imaginative monster drawings and recreated them as ceramic sculptures! We're so excited to display these monster pairs in our Youth Gallery through the month of March, 2021, with an opening on First Friday, February 5, from 5-8 PM.

Collaborators for this show include: local ceramic artist and Big Sky Academy art teacher Shannon Thomasson, Clinton Elementary School second grade teacher Cody Davis, fifth grade teacher Tim Rose, and Clinton Elementary and Big Sky Academy students.
