Local printmaker Christa Carlton designed and printed 175 postcards during the 2020 Last Best Print Fest (which ran throughout the month of May). The ZACC sent out the cards (self addressed and stamped) to 175 local artists, and asked them to recreate them and pop them in the mail. About half have already returned to us, and we’re seeing more arrive in the mail each day.

The postcards will be exhibited in the Main Gallery through the month of June. We won’t have a traditional ‘First Friday’ opening, but we will keep the ZACC Paint-Your-Own-Pottery Studio, and the connected Main Gallery, open until 8 PM on Friday, June 5. Folks will be able to paint pottery, view the Pandemic Postcards in the Main Gallery, peruse our Art Shop (full of offerings by local and regional artists!), and chat with ZACC staff.
