Kickoff your holiday countdown in style by making your own custom-made advent calendar! Calendars can be used year after year, and be customized with envelopes for notes, poems, or letters, or even little boxes for gifts.

Wednesday, November 29, 2017 - 6:00pm

Struggle to know what to write in a card to your loved ones?  Rather than tell them your love, show them your love by crafting a handmade holiday card.  Local artist Amber Whitenburg will guide you through different techniques that will really help your card stand out.

 Level up your cookie game. Jenny Lynn from Poppy will show you how to make Instagrammable decorated sugar cookies.

Wednesday, December 6, 2017 - 6:00pm

Create a pendant with metalsmith artist, Amber Whitenburg

This class will investigate the craft of jewelry making and metalsmithing! Learn the techniques of metal stamping, beading, texturing metal with a hammer. You will leave class with your own handcrafted jewelry piece to give as a gift or keep for yourself. 

$35 plus a $5 materials fee

Sunday, December 10, 2017 - 2:00pm

 Learn to make these easy yet beautiful beeswax luminaries. They can be decorated or left plain and will make beautiful gifts or light our way through the dark winter months. This class is $35 plus a $5 supplies fee. You will come away with multiple luminaries and the knowledge to keep making them year after year. This is class is part of the ZACC's DIY Holiday Series. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 - 6:00pm

In this holiday-themed glass fusing class students will create stunning, detailed flat glass ornaments by way of fusing glass. Create transparent designs that you can see your tree lights through or bold opaque ornaments sure to garner some compliments.  Students can make two ornaments each and are invited to make more for $12/each.
