Learn the ancient art of relief printmaking. Students will learn how to use carving tools to create an image, ink up their image and then print their image on paper. Make one print (a mono print) or print an edition! This art form is great for both, artists who want to reproduce their imagery and/or novices who want to reimagine images taken from public domain, magazines, calendars and/or cards. From card making to fine art, the possibilities are endless.
