AMP (Alternative Music Project)

The AMP (Alternative Music Project) is program under the ZACC whose mission is to provide all-ages music education, shows, and experiences. Please help us in thanking the supporters of AMP. Monday, July 24, 2017 - 10:00am

Drop the beat and rhyme! In this camp, campers will learn about Hip-Hop history and culture, write an original song, and perform at the Top Hat for Family Friendly Friday July 28th. They will also make t-shirts and flyers, experience a breakdancing performance and talkback, discuss beat creation, song structure, and more.

In this camp, girls will build self-esteem through music exploration. Regardless of musical experience, campers will receive instrument instruction in drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, and vocals. They will form a band, write an original song, and perform at Family Friendly Friday on August 11th at the Top Hat Lounge.

September 18th- October 27th | Mondays & Wednesdays 4:00pm- 6:00pm with a final performance on October 27th
