AMP (Alternative Music Project)

The AMP (Alternative Music Project) is program under the ZACC whose mission is to provide all-ages music education, shows, and experiences. Please help us in thanking the supporters of AMP. For individuals who need assistance with the costs for enrolling in classes we offer scholarships. Be familiar with our cancellation policies. In this camp, girls will build self-esteem through music exploration. Regardless of musical experience, campers will receive instrument instruction in drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, and vocals. They will form a band, write an original song, and perform at Family Friendly Friday on August 10th at the Top Hat Lounge. 

Monday, August 20, 2018 - 10:00am

In this camp, boys will build self esteem through music exploration. Regardless of musical experience, campers will receive instrument instruction in drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, and vocals. They will form a band, write an original song, and perform at Family Friendly Friday at the Top Hat Lounge on August 24th. Boys will also learn about music history, attend song-writing clinics, talk about stage presence, create flyers for their upcoming show, design a band logo and screen T-shirts, and more.
