 In this functional pottery class you will learn to make bowls, platters, dishes, mugs, and other awesome hand-built pieces.  We will explore different techniques such as sgraffito, carving, and impressions.  In this class you will produce unique art that you can use or give as gifts. 

Monday, August 13, 2018 - 9:00am

We welcome you to Glitter Mania! What better way to celebrate sunny, summer days than with shimmer and shine? This camp will work with sculpture, portraiture, composition and more with glitter as our primary medium!

Ages 12-17

Monday, July 30, 2018 - 1:00pm

 Based on one of Missoula’s most popular events, expert story curator Marc Moss guides campers in selecting a story to share, building a story's three main elements and peer work-shopping. Campers learn how to share a story effectively and voice acting techniques to prepare them for their own youth Tell Us Something live event! Campers will select a theme for their Tell Us Something event, collaborate on an event flier and workshop their stories.

Ages 8-16

Monday, August 6, 2018 - 10:00am

 

In this camp, girls will build self-esteem through music exploration. Regardless of musical experience, campers will receive instrument instruction in drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, and vocals. They will form a band, write an original song, and perform at Family Friendly Friday on August 10th at the Top Hat Lounge. 

Monday, August 20, 2018 - 10:00am

In this camp, boys will build self esteem through music exploration. Regardless of musical experience, campers will receive instrument instruction in drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, and vocals. They will form a band, write an original song, and perform at Family Friendly Friday at the Top Hat Lounge on August 24th. Boys will also learn about music history, attend song-writing clinics, talk about stage presence, create flyers for their upcoming show, design a band logo and screen T-shirts, and more.

Ages 7 - 13

Monday, August 13, 2018 - 1:00pm

 Students will be transported to the imaginary world of witchcraft and wizardry in this camp! Students will explore a variety of media, including but not limited to, book-building, metal-smithing, and jewelry making.
