Wednesday, December 13, 2017 - 6:00pm

In this holiday-themed glass fusing class students will create stunning, detailed flat glass ornaments by way of fusing glass. Create transparent designs that you can see your tree lights through or bold opaque ornaments sure to garner some compliments.  Students can make two ornaments each and are invited to make more for $12/each.

Tuesday, January 9, 2018 - 6:00pm

Think SMALL! While the ZACC family prepares for the annual Mini Show, our annual art exhibition and fundraising event, students will create 5 of their own mini masterpieces. Students will create a new project each week utilizing ceramics, paint, printmaking processes, and more!  Experience is welcome, but not required.

Wednesday, January 10, 2018 - 6:00pm

This introductory class covers all the basics of glass fusion. Students will learn glass design, kiln firing processes, and be oriented to the tools and materials available in the glass studio. Attendees will also have a chance to explore and ask questions while they create a piece of glass art in class that night.

Sunday, January 14, 2018 - 6:00pm

Students will be given the information, tools, and materials to create their own small leather journals. Creative use of blank and/or printed papers, stitch patterns, and cover decorations will ensure each student leaves with a journal that is one-of-a-kind.

Saturday, January 20, 2018 - 9:00am

Art journaling is a wonderful tool for developing a mindfulness practice. In this course you will be led into the fantastic world that brings together your intrinsic creativity wiht the practice of mindfulness. With the use of guided meditation and journaling prompts, you will gain insights into your deeper self. This is a great course for anyone looking to expand their mindful practice of just dipping their toes and need a creative outlet.

Monday, January 22, 2018 - 6:00pm

If you are new to drawing, or a printmaker, sculptor or painter who would like to refresh your drawing skills, you will discover something useful in this class. Students will explore the nature of light and shadow, and how to render three dimensional objects onto a two dimensional surface.

This winter is the perfect opportunity for your young artist to cozy up with layers of bold color and hearwarming design.  Students will study the work of established painters and learn basic painting techniques of watercolor, acrylic, natural pigments, and even oil to express their unique selves.
