Inside/Outside by Nico Larsen

Please join us January 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for the opening of "Inside/Outside" a body of work by artist Nico Larsen.

Nico's work will be on display in the ZACC Hallway Gallery for the entire month of January.  If you are unable to attend the opening, her works can be viewed anytime during regular business hours Monday - Saturday 11 am - 6 pm.

Statement for Inside/Outside: 

How can the dead thoughts be studied or depicted?

white petals, yarn, coins, lush ground, all of the little bad things that culminate

Do people visiting gravesites leave behind and keep alive energy of the dead?

Atrophy as a decline into chaos. The dead can think & you think of the grave as a

A house (a grave) shelters daydreaming, the house protects the dreamer, the house

allows one to dream in peace. By finding that there are no true opposites reveals the

connection of all Selves. Opposites aren’t tied together via reference only, but within

the cycle/circle on which they flow.

Gravesites as cocoons-

nerve cells die in 3 to 7 minutes

kidneys, liver, heart die in 30 minutes

skin cells, less than 12 hours.

Your body grows into another after 7 years or after death. What will be your
